Ratings/Suitable For Age Group?: T for Teen Rating from ESRB
T for Teen (Blood, Violence)
Additionally for pre-teen audiences, there are topics of death, bullying and milder instances of body horror. Additionally, there are brief allusions to more adult topics and implied graphic violence (a doll hangs from a rafter; some dolls and/or mannequins have their bodies and heads smashed in). Finally, there is effective tension and a few jumpscares for those who may be sensitive to those events.

Trivia/Little Known Facts:
  • It seems that Violetta is quite the connoisseur of fine arts. (As is, by extension, co-Art Director, Pixel Artist and Animator extraordinaire and co-founding brother of DYA Games, Alberto Vilchez.)

Even in her dark and tortured visions of the academy, brilliant examples of art shine through. Below (↓) are, but a few of the artistic masterpieces that may or may not have been inspirations for some of the decoration that can be spotted during play:

Inside the room with the grand piano, a statue that seems inspired by 'The Birth Of Venus' by Botticelli can be found.      Venus from The Birth Of Venus

Sandro Botticelli's La nascita di Venere (The Birth Of Venus) (circa 1485).

Silvia sees a statue that seems inspired by 'David' by Leonardo Da Vinci.      David, Leonardo Da Vinci (c. 1501-1504)

Silvia sees this statue that seems inspired by 'The Thinker' by Auguste Rodin.

Silvia sees a painting that seems inspired by 'The collective invention' by Rene Magritte.

Rene Magritte's The collective invention (1934).

In the room of the first Save Point, Silvia sees a painting that seems inspired by 'La maja vestida' by Francisco Goya.

Francisco Goya's La maja vestida (The Clothed Maja) (circa 1800-1805).
La maja vestida, Francisco Goya (c. 1800-1805)

  • It seems that there is always something new to discover in Alberto Vilchez's intricate art and animation. He does a little self-promotion for DYA Games in the images below (↓):

Alberto Vilchez, one of the co-owners of DYA Games and brilliant artist, hides an Easter egg of sorts by adding DYA in this image.

This chalkboard in the classroom where the calendar hangs, proudly displays another DYA.

  • During her haunted adventures, Silvia finds a Musical Score. If you look at the description for the Musical Score, you will discover that it is named "Pour Viviette"—not "Pour Violetta", which is an interesting title. This name may be an allusion to an earlier, survivor horror game created by DYA Games: Viviette (2018).

The Musical Score in Evil Tonight is called 'Pour Viviette', an interesting choice.

Viviette is a game that feels similar to Evil Tonight that was also created by DYA Games.
