Trivia/Little Known Facts
  • There were four additional, special characters that were added to the story of Beacon Pines because of Kickstarter goals being met. They are Geoff, Dawn, Kado and Natt: ↓

Skeptical, trash collector, Geoff, from Beacon Pines             Aspiring reporter, Dawn, from Beacon Pines
          Geoff                                      Dawn

'Adorable' librarian, Kado, from Beacon Pines     Natt, who seems to know a lot about the mysterious goings-on in Beacon Pines
    Kado                                           Natt

  • Matt Meyer was very busy working on Beacon Pines. He is a multitalented force at Hiding Spot Games—Creative Director and Programming being among his titles on the Beacon Pines project.

But, did you know that he won an award from the Independent Games Festival (IGF) for Excellence in Audio for his music in the indie game, Ephemerid (SuperChop Games, 2015)? This would account for him being the sole musician on Beacon Pines, contributing all of the songs from the soundtrack.

Matt Meyer, musician extraordinaire - to go along with all of his other titles on Beacon Pines.

  • Ms. Hatch is a minor, alligator/crocodile character who has a fondness for reading. She can be found enjoying a book on a bench in front of the fountain in the center of Beacon Pines, near the Town Hall.

If you have Luka engage her in conversation, she will give a sly foreshadowing of the events ahead. Her messaging will change depending upon whichever Chapter you stop to talk to her. (Not really a secret, but more of a mild spoiler.)
